Letter of Intent (LOI)
A letter of intent (LOI) is a non-binding document outlining the terms and conditions of a proposed business deal, such as the sale of a med spa. It serves as a preliminary agreement that details the main points, like price and conditions, and shows both parties’ commitment to move forward with negotiations. While it’s not a final contract, it helps set the stage for more detailed agreements and due diligence.
